Projects Overview
Here you will find details of some of my commercial and home automation projects that I have either designed myself or modified to suit my own purpose.

Boiler Mon
Here you will find details of the boiler monitoring system I designed to keep watch over my oil fired central heating system.

CAN bus
Here you will find details of what CAN bus is and some software and hardware designs for the Atmel AVR and Microchip based CAN bus interface IC (MCP2510) that I have decided to use for all of my own home made automation interfacing other than X10.

Current Mon
This is details of the Current Monitor that I built to give me a readout of the amps currently being drawn from the main incoming mains supply to the house.

Software
Here you will find some source code for some of the projects I have completed using the Atmel AVR based devices. There is also code for the control of the Microchip MCP2510 CAN bus controller written using the excellent Codevision C compiler for the Atmel devices. 

Boiler Controller
Here you will find details of the replacement boiler controller that I have designed using two Atmel microcontrollers and a CAN bus network. The prototype is now wired in and replaces the existing unit. (this will stay but be switched off)

MP3 PLAYER
This is details of the touch screen computer I built play back MP3 files or stream radio. Now updated with new software and more pictures (Sept 2003)
